Shot with a TL-120 using Provia 100F pushed one stop. This slide didn’t even seem worth mounting until I thought of trying a panoramic mount. Unfortunately I used my last panoramic mount here.

Mount Royal Cemetery with back-lit ice-covered tree
I noticed Dale Walsh also likes photographing in Mount Royal Cemetery, an oasis of calm in the middle of Montreal. Freezing rain covered the trees with ice and then a snow storm blanketed the tombstones. I like the way the trunk hides the sun in the left image, but it peeks out in the right image.

Chilies and flowers in Jean Talon Market
Jean Talon Market is an important institution in Montreal, full of vendors of all kinds of fine foods that vary with the season. I asked the vendor in the middle of this scene if I could photograph his stand, which he agreed to while continuing to work threading garlands of chilies.
